Compatibility labels belong to the named project, build, platform, and dated source. This site does not host game files, firmware, keys, or mirrored builds.

## KytyPS5

KytyPS5 is a C++ PlayStation 5 translation layer based on a heavily modified Kyty. The README says it can boot 2D and 3D games, including Unreal Engine 4/5 and Unity titles, and that low-level emulation modules are not part of the design. It is not a finished emulator, and results change between daily builds.

- Role: PS5 translation layer
- Operating systems: Windows 10 1803+ and current Linux are the tested targets. macOS is experimental: x86-64 builds under Rosetta 2 on Apple Silicon, Vulkan via bundled MoltenVK.
- CPU: 64-bit x86. On macOS, Apple Silicon with Rosetta 2.
- GPU: Vulkan 1.3 with a current driver. The README points shader work at AMD RDNA 2 documentation.
- RAM: The README does not publish a RAM minimum.
- Source release at the snapshot: [KytyPS5-2026-10-13-9e41d83](https://github.com/KytyPS5/KytyPS5/releases) (2026-10-13)

The README publishes screenshots of Astro Bot, Saros, Neptunia ReVerse, Silent Hill: The Short Message, Demon's Souls, and UFC 6. A screenshot is not a frame-rate claim. The living community list is on kytyps5.github.io. A 10 Oct 2026 pcgaming.io summary counted 154 of 302 listed titles as reaching gameplay. This site did not recount that list on 15 Oct 2026.

The original Kyty repository (InoriRus/Kyty) is the ancestor, not this project. KytyPS5 says Windows and Linux get the most testing. Official release builds include an updater that downloads the next package from GitHub and checks SHA-256. Source builds do not replace themselves with official releases.

## SharpEmu

SharpEmu is an experimental C# PlayStation 5 emulator. The README says development and testing use dumps from consoles the developers own, and that the repository contains no copyrighted firmware or game data. Official channels named in the README are sharpemu.app and the GitHub repository.

- Role: PS5 emulator
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux, and macOS. The 8 Oct 2026 release attached win-x64, linux-x64, and osx-x64 archives. The macOS build includes MoltenVK.
- CPU: The README ships x64 builds. It does not publish a named CPU extension list.
- GPU: A Vulkan-capable GPU and a current driver. Settings can be per game or global, or passed on the CLI.
- RAM: The README does not publish a RAM minimum.
- Source release at the snapshot: [v0.0.5-nexus-release.2](https://github.com/sharpemu/sharpemu/releases/tag/v0.0.5-nexus-release.2) (2026-10-08)

sharpemu.app/compatibility on 15 Oct 2026 tracked 9,215 PS5 games and marked 97 as tested: 42 playable, 19 in game, 5 menus, 18 boots, 13 nothing. Those labels are community reports, not a promise that the same build will match on your PC. Examples from that page: Hollow Knight Voidheart Edition playable at a reported 60 FPS (14 Oct), Hollow Knight: Silksong playable (6 Oct), Ghost of Yotei in game at about 1 FPS (12 Oct), Demon's Souls reaching gameplay but heavy (5 Oct), Gran Turismo 7 booting only (30 Sep).

v0.0.5-nexus-release.2 was published on 8 Oct 2026 for commit 47d4c07. The notes mention shader fixes and Demon's Souls page-fault work. A playable indie report and a 1 FPS open-world report can sit on the same database. Read the row before you treat a title as done.

## AnyPS5

AnyPS5 is not an emulator process. It relinks a PS5 executable into a Windows PE or Linux ELF and supplies host libraries. Game CPU code then runs on the PC. Graphics still go through a Vulkan shader recompiler, so a successful conversion is not gameplay. The game-by-game ledger on this site is the long record.

- Role: Executable relinker
- Operating systems: Windows and Linux. The README describes a tool that ports PS5 executables to those hosts. macOS flags emit an x86-64 Mach-O. That is not a supported game runtime.
- CPU: x86-64 with AVX2, FMA, F16C, BMI1, BMI2, LZCNT, and MOVBE. Startup names a missing extension and stops. Intel needs an extra conversion step.
- GPU: Vulkan 1.1 with graphics, compute, and a swapchain. A discrete GPU is preferred.
- RAM: Windows commits direct memory at map time, up to 13824 MiB, so RAM plus pagefile has to cover that. 16 GB is only a floor when the pagefile is large.
- Source release at the snapshot: [v0.1.2](https://github.com/boykopovar/AnyPS5/releases/tag/v0.1.2) (2026-10-14)

The archived official table, checked here on 14 Oct 2026, marks one title playable: Dreaming Sarah on Windows (PPSA02929). DOOM shareware homebrew is a weaker in-game row and is not retail DOOM. Community reports for Silksong, Astro Bot, and Demon's Souls are labeled separately and are not official Playable marks.

v0.1.2 was published on 14 Oct 2026. The GitHub API on 15 Oct 2026 showed 37,185 stars and 3,285 forks. The release notes are mostly new contributors, not a compatibility jump. Install steps, errors, and the Steam Deck page stay on their own URLs.

## Prosperity

Prosperity, formerly PS4Delta, is a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 emulator. The README says CPU code runs directly on AMD64 or through FEX on ARM64, and that PS4 and PS5 graphics are translated to SPIR-V. It ships no Sony code. You must supply your own system modules and games. This site does not explain how to produce those modules.

- Role: PS4 and PS5 emulator
- Operating systems: Linux AMD64 is tier 1. Linux ARM64 and Android are tier 2. Windows is tier 3 and described as planned. The only release asset on the v0.0.1 tag was prosperity_0.0.1_amd64.deb.
- CPU: On Linux: an x86-64 CPU from the last 10 years with AVX, SSE4.2, and BMI1, or an aarch64 host. Android: a recent processor.
- GPU: Vulkan 1.4 or newer. The README also asks for at least 8 GB of VRAM on Linux.
- RAM: 16 GB on Linux. 12 GB on Android, with a note that 8 GB may work for some games.
- Source release at the snapshot: [v0.0.1](https://github.com/Force67/prosperity/releases/tag/v0.0.1) (2026-10-03)

The README we checked does not publish a numbered compatibility table. pcgaming.io on 10 Oct 2026 described showcase gameplay for the PS5 versions of Dead Cells, The Binding of Isaac, and Minecraft. Treat that as a press summary of the project's own demos, not as a list we retested.

There is no Windows download on the v0.0.1 release. Building from source uses the repository's Nix or CMake instructions. A site offering a Windows Prosperity EXE with a BIOS pack is not this repository.
