Download and install

Get the relinker from the official GitHub release, then point it at an executable you are allowed to use.

Unofficial notes. No game files, BIOS, firmware, keys, ROMs, or mirrored builds. Download each project only from its official GitHub repository.

  1. Check the PC

Use 64-bit Windows or Linux on an x86-64 CPU. You need Vulkan 1.1 and the CPU extensions listed on the requirements page. macOS can build a relinker, but it is not an official game runtime.

  2. Download the official release

Open the v0.1.2 GitHub release. Windows needs relinker-v0.1.2.exe and prx-windows-v0.1.2.zip. Linux needs the relinker binary and prx-linux-v0.1.2. Skip reuploads, mirrors, and any archive that claims to include a game.

  3. Lay out the libraries

Put the relinker in a folder. Unzip the matching prx archive so AnyPS5 host libraries live where the runtime will look, under libs/ next to the output. Use the Windows archive on Windows and the Linux archive on Linux. Release archives already include the MinGW DLLs the Windows libraries need.

  4. Supply your own executable

The relinker expects a clean ELF and any bundled modules beside it. This site does not host that file, does not host firmware or keys, and does not explain how to obtain a copy. You are responsible for having the right to use the binary.

  5. Run the relinker

Windows: relinker --windows source/input.elf app.exe. Linux: relinker source/input.elf app.elf. A filename ending in .exe does not select Windows by itself. Intel hosts may also need --to-intel. Exit code 0 means conversion finished. It does not mean the game is playable.

  6. Start the output

On Windows, run .\app.exe from that folder. On Linux, chmod +x app.elf and run ./app.elf. Keep libs/ beside it. If the process prints a runtime_error and exits, read the errors page. The official usage document is the full reference.
