Fake PS5 emulator downloads

PCSX2 is a real PlayStation 2 emulator. PCSX4 and PCSX5 are names repeatedly documented as survey and malware funnels, including on the Emulation General Wiki scam list. They copy the look of a known project. They are not early versions of KytyPS5, SharpEmu, Prosperity, or AnyPS5.

The same pattern shows up as "PS5 emulator for PC, full speed, all games" beside a download button that never points at GitHub. Full speed and a complete library are the claim. The file, when one appears, is not the emulator.

Official release pages do not ask you to complete offers, install a browser extension, or enter a phone number before the archive downloads. KytyPS5's updater, when you use an official build, downloads the next package from GitHub and checks SHA-256. That is a hash check against the project's own file. It is not a locker site.

• If the button says the download is locked until a survey finishes, close the tab.
• If the file name is a setup EXE and the project's release page shows a zip or a deb, you are on the wrong site.
• If a page mirrors this wiki and adds a download we do not have, use the repository links at the bottom of this guide.

None of the four projects distributes a PS5 BIOS, firmware image, or key set from this site, and their READMEs say they do not ship copyrighted system software. A zip titled as a BIOS is the scam, or it is a copyright problem, or it is both. This page will not describe what is inside one, and it will not tell you how to make one.

Prosperity is explicit that you must supply your own system modules and games. Its documentation is the place for that requirement. Restating a dump or decryption procedure here would be the thing this site refuses.

• KytyPS5: the tag on 15 Oct 2026 was KytyPS5-2026-10-13-9e41d83. A tag can appear before every platform archive is attached, so read the asset list.
• SharpEmu: v0.0.5-nexus-release.2 on 8 Oct 2026, with win-x64, linux-x64, and osx-x64 archives. Official pages named by the README are sharpemu.app and the GitHub repository.
• AnyPS5: v0.1.2 on 14 Oct 2026. Windows wants relinker-v0.1.2.exe and prx-windows-v0.1.2.zip. Linux wants the relinker binary and prx-linux-v0.1.2. Skip any archive that claims to include a game.
• Prosperity: v0.0.1 on 3 Oct 2026. The asset to expect is a Linux amd64 deb, not a Windows installer.

We do not link the scam sites. The Emulation General Wiki page above is the longer catalog if you want to check the pattern against their writeup.
